Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Emotional Mastery Podcast. I am your host, rochelle. I'm a holistic, human design health coach and this is a space for human design and spiritual journey. It's not about being a master of your emotions, rather mastering the tools to self-regulate, to awakening yourself and remembering who you are. Human design changed my life about five years ago and I've been learning and teaching the system ever since. This podcast is human design meets spirituality, meets astrology. You don't have to have a belief system to be here, just an open mind and curiosity. This is a journey of meeting yourself and awakening to your infinite potential. Now let the magic begin.

Speaker 1:

Welcome back to the Emotional Mastery Podcast. I'm Rochelle, your host, and today we're going to dive into one of the most expansive and inspiring benefic planets in astrology, and that's Jupiter. I believe it was last week we talked about Saturn, which is in pretty sharp contrast to Jupiter. Saturn is really strict, it's like the teacher of the cosmos, the teacher of the universe, and it's all about karma, restriction, boundaries, really that type of energy, whereas Jupiter is sort of the opposite right. It's more of like the mentor, it's the guru, it's the dreamer, it's the optimist right, and so it really holds the energy of trust, whereas Jupiter is more sorry. Saturn is more questioning, it's more restrictive, it's a different sort of energy. So we're going to talk about your specific natal Jupiter placement, what Jupiter means, archetypes, personal growth, belief systems, all that sort of stuff, and really how Jupiter transits can really bring you opportunities for abundance and the lessons that Jupiter has for you. So you'll have the tools to really connect to Jupiter in your own chart and it's a really great way to work with it in your life. And so, with each of these episodes, the time in between is a really great opportunity to contemplate, to really dig into that specific planet, the house, the gate that it's in right, any aspects that it holds in your chart.

Speaker 1:

And so, yeah, this week we're talking about Jupiter and it's interesting. So Mars is in retrograde and that has really sort of been kicking my ass because it's in Leo, which my Leo rising into Leo moon. So it's conjunct those and I just feel this sort of like burn it all down energy where I completely shifted in a career change or job change. I don't want to use the word career because this is my career and this is what I'm manifesting, but my bridge job will say completely different, nothing that I've ever done before. I'm kind of learning from the bottom and it's a little overwhelming. If I'm being honest, I'm exhausted. It's sort of long days and I'm working hard to get out of the mindset of the harder that I work, the more money I make. However, it doesn't seem. Once I get familiar with everything it's not hard. So it's really showing me, I guess, where I've done the work and where my mindset is at and the mental strength that you need.

Speaker 1:

And I was thinking about that yesterday because there was a moment during the day where I was like, did I make the right decision? Because I literally know nothing and I it was a little I don't want to use the word defeating, it wasn't defeating, but I had that moment where I thought that I was like man, did I make the right decision in this career change? And then I remembered I can do anything. I put my mind to, like I am co-creating with the universe, I am absolutely capable. I learn really quickly, I work really quickly. I'm a manifesting generator. I multitask like crazy. Like that is my nickname right, or that's my forte. I guess you could say as a manifesting generator, I'm really good at multitasking and so I know I can do it. It's just overwhelming in the moment. And so, again, that's where that mental strength comes in, where I've really been practicing and trusting that muscle of, even though I can't see it right now, I trust Trust and I believe in myself and my abilities and I know what I'm capable of. I also have Chiron in the 11th house, and so in Gemini of I also have Chiron in the 11th house, and so in Gemini, which is all about being social and playful and things like that. And so I have held a lot of I don't want to say trauma, but I have held a lot of shadow around being social and fitting in. And so it sort of feels like that new girl energy where I'm like trying to figure out like how I show up, and then I'm reminding myself just be you, just be me, right, and in all the ways that I am, and I can be super awkward. At least I feel like I can be super awkward at first, but I don't think other people see it, so it's all in your mind, right?

Speaker 1:

I'm rereading the book. Oh my gosh, I can't remember what it's called. Loving what Is by Byron, katie the work, and it's such a powerful reminder I'm literally just in the introduction. But she talks about she's giving an example in the crowd and through all of it it's questioning is this true? Do I know this is true? What do I believe? I can't remember what the four questions are. Is this true? Do I know this is true? Who would I be if it weren't true? And then there's one more in there that I can't remember what it was, but it's like reframing. So it's like if I am projecting and being like you don't like spending time with me, then the reframe is like I don't like spending time with me, right? But anyway, the whole point of it is that it's the narrative of our mind that makes us uncomfortable, right, it's because we are resisting reality.

Speaker 1:

There's an example of a woman and her husband. She's like he just breathes really heavy and it annoys me. And Byron Katie keeps asking her like he annoys you or breathing, and it's really just because she doesn't want him to breathe that heavy in the moment. And he is, and so the reality differs from what she wants, and so her mind is creating the resistance, the irritation, right? So it's all in our mind and it's just a really powerful reminder. So just believe in yourself.

Speaker 1:

Do the work, show up, really implement those practices. And before we jump into the episode, holistic Human Design Academy is open. The doors will close on the 15th, which is this Sunday, which is the full moon in Gemini, and it's just a really beautiful program. Is the full moon in Gemini, and it's just a really beautiful program. We integrate human design, astrology, the gene keys, shadow work, energy and energetics. We touch a little bit on attachment theory, just because I think it's so helpful to understand how you show up in relationships, and not just relationships to other people, relationships to food, to money, to all the things.

Speaker 1:

And then there's this beautiful community space on Instagram. I've created a page. There's DMs in there, there's weekly calls, eft tapping, q&as, all the things. I've really created this to be a space that I wish I had when I began, and so the link for that is down below. It is $88 a month or $500 for six months, you choose. You can pay in full, cancel at any time. If you do the monthly payment plan, you get seven day free trial currently.

Speaker 1:

So head in there, get the free trial, check it out I know you'll love it and one-on-one sessions. Dm me if you are or email me if you're interested in one-on-one sessions. I am about to reopen my books because I had them closed for a while because my schedule was so inconsistent, but now that I have some consistency in my life I will reopen those for one-on-one sessions. So all the information you need is down in the show notes. If you love this podcast, please rate, review, subscribe Spotify. It's just those five stars. Just click them. It really, really, really helps. And yeah, just thank you for listening, whether this is the first time you've listened, whether you've listened for years, wherever you're at in your journey, I appreciate you so much and I really honor you for committing and showing up here and learning about yourself and your chart and really working on this personal growth and self-worth and all the things.

Speaker 1:

So let's dive into Jupiter, right? So again, jupiter holds the energy of expansion, abundance. It's a benefic planet. Jupiter rules Pisces and Sagittarius. Primarily. Sagittarius is co-ruler of Pisces with Neptune. Again, it's optimism. And so Jupiter is higher learning. Because where it rules, sagittarius, higher learning.

Speaker 1:

Mythologically, jupiter aligns with Zeus, the king of the gods. He ruled with authority, but he also had a sense of generosity and vision. Psychologically, jupiter represents our desire to grow, to seek meaning and pursue what feels fulfilling. So that's sort of that Sagittarius energy. Jupiter reflects our belief system and how we can connect with something greater than ourselves, whether that's spirituality, philosophy or just like your own personal values values but like all archetypes and like everything, there's always duality, right? So jupiter does have a shadow side as well. Too much expansion can lead to overindulgence or blind faith. And when we chase growth without boundaries right, that's where saturn comes in we might find ourselves scattered or burnt out.

Speaker 1:

And as an example of this, I have jupiter, my eighth house, in pisces, and I have ven Venus in Gemini, in my 11th house, but they are squared. So I have these two benefic planets that theoretically are really optimistic and really great like, especially when it comes to money and love and values and things like that right. But they're square to each other. So they create and they have, over my life, created this overindulgence, this impulsiveness that has felt almost like I can't control it. So I in the past have been really I'm really working on it money mindset and just like assigning my money, meaning and having a relationship with my money.

Speaker 1:

But in the past, when I was younger, I was super impulsive. I would just spend, spend, spend, spend, spend, right and I would be like I'm in the moment and I'm not taking it with me when I die and like all these things. But like, realistically, I'm still here, like I'm living here in a world where money is value, and so I have really started to get a little bit more serious about my money and what I'm doing with it and how I'm saving it and all those things. And so it's still an energy in my chart. But squares are internal energies that we have to take action on, right. So taking action on getting organized and saving a little bit and putting money aside, like that actually allows me to then indulge and really step into that Venus-Jupiter square, right, so really understanding where it is in your chart and how it speaks to other planets.

Speaker 1:

It's also square to Uranus, which, of course, is super unpredictable. Like that's what Uranus is it's anxiety, it's unpredictability, it's planets. It's also square to Uranus, which, of course, is super unpredictable. Like that's what Uranus is it's anxiety, it's unpredictability, it's freedom, it's innovation. So all of these aspects have to do with my money and especially Jupiter is in the eighth house, right. Eighth house is other people's money. It's your, not resources. Second house is your resources. It's your oh, my gosh, the word that I'm looking for has escaped me Inheritance. Sorry, it's inheritance, taxes, all those things like that. So it's just, it's a really interesting dynamic because, although they are both benefic planets, when they're in a square, if I'm not in my highest expression, the shadow of those energies are going to come up. So, again, everything has a higher or lower expression.

Speaker 1:

So, looking in your natal chart, right, like Jupiter's sign and house will reveal a lot about where you grow, where you feel expanded, where you feel optimistic, right. So the sign I love the analogy where it's like the planet is the actor, the sign is the costume and the house is. No, sorry, the house is the costume, the planet is the character, the sign is the costume, the house is the stage. I was correct. But so the sign really shows like your style of seeking meaning when it comes to Jupiter. So again, jupiter and Sagittarius were ruled. It really thrives on adventure, philosophical exploration, while Jupiter and Capricorn grows through discipline and practical achievement. Right, and then the house shows where you're most likely to find abundance.

Speaker 1:

So Jupiter in the 10th house often brings growth in your career and achievements, and Jupiter in the 8th house, like me, is more expansion on the deep, dark, occult. I love going deep, I love talking about all the taboo things. It really excites me, it expands me. So another example if Jupiter's in Pisces in your 4th house, this might mean that you find growth in creating a compassionate, emotionally nurturing home and environment and, of course, including some spirituality in there. But on the reverse side, it can have you codependent, addictive, right Expanding on all those themes.

Speaker 1:

So transits are really really helpful in our evolution because as they touch things on our chart, they are giving us activations, right. So, like I said, currently Mars is moving through my first house. It's going to be touching on my moon and my rising, and so this is activating those energies. Uranus has been passing over my sun for years, so that energy is activating my sun sign right. Saturn is going over my Jupiter and Pisces, and so that's activating my Jupiter. So it's all these lessons that is holding for us as it activates different transits and teaches us new things, right?

Speaker 1:

So every 12 years, jupiter completes its full orbit of the sun. So every 12 years you'll have a Jupiter return, and this is really bringing opportunities for reflection and new beginnings, right. So again, that's that Jupiter return. So these are huge milestones and then when Jupiter comes back to the place that it was at the time of your birth, your Jupiter return every 12 years. It's a time of expansion opportunity and it's also calling you to align with that like personal truth within. And then, you know, pay attention to when Jupiter makes aspects to your sun, moon arising, these can really bring powerful opportunities. And when it's an aspect to your outer planets, um, you know, it's just a slower moving transit. So it's not going to be like a quick hit like it might feel with the inner planets because they move more quickly, but like, if it's, you know, moving over pluto, um, it's just gonna be slower and so just really paying attention to that right, um, so we'll go through quickly, like Jupiter, through each sign.

Speaker 1:

So again, jupiter and Aries, this is bold expansion, leadership, action, assertion. It's really expanding on all those things. Taurus is really growth through stability and sensuality. It's really focusing on your finances, because Taurus is your finances. It's material. Gemini, it's really where it's in right now Curiosity, learning, social media. It's really expanding on all of these themes.

Speaker 1:

Cancer, which it will be in next year. It moves into cancer. Emotional fulfillment, connection, nurturing your home life, your inner world, leo, creativity, self-expression, bold right, it's the lion, it's courageous. Virgo practical, service-oriented growth. Um, again, there's always going to be a shadow in there and, uh, I always think like judgment, uh, analytical, right. So we want to more focus on, like the positive things, but naturally, with any lesson, you'll learn the lesson through the shadows.

Speaker 1:

Libra balance, partnership, peace, scorpio as a Jupiter in the eighth house it's in Pisces, but it's in the eighth house, like I resonate really with the Scorpio stuff. But transformation, deep inner exploration right, but it also could again expand on the shadow sides manipulation, lack of trust right. So we also could again expand on the shadow sides manipulation, lack of trust right. So we want to again feel them and then focus on the positive aspects Sagittarius adventure, higher learning, education, philosophy, religion, capricorn, discipline, long-term goals, our career, our personal persona, how people perceive us, aquarius freedom, innovation, people perceive us Aquarius, freedom, innovation, community, humanitarian achievements or endeavors.

Speaker 1:

And then finally, pisces spirituality, compassion, but being aware of the losing ourselves and other people, the addiction which every time the sun moves through Pisces so Pisces season, because I have Jupiter in Pisces I notice the tug a little bit more of those addictive tendencies. Right, it's just being aware, like if you have Jupiter and Pisces that will naturally be a part of it and just to focus on more like the spirituality. And it's funny because I have never really experienced I don't know how to word this so I've never, like seen goat. Well, no, that's a lie. I have seen ghosts, but it's not like I grew up seeing them. I wasn't really super spiritually attuned. I don't necessarily sit in meditation and get downloads and hear all these things, but I have such a pull to it. I really like desire to kind of experience life that way. And I'm sure there's a reason that I don't currently and it's not to say I'm not spiritual, because I am. I walk with my spirituality all day, like I feel it all day. I'm always connecting, I'm always seeing signs and things like that. Maybe that is Jupiter in Pisces and I'm just like downplaying my abilities but like I wouldn't consider myself a medium, I don't all that kind of stuff. And it's really interesting because, again, I feel the pull to it. I love having conversations with people and there's when I hear those stories. But yeah, jupiter in Pisces, and maybe it's my T-square there, I don't know, but that is also an aspect of Jupiter in Pisces. So really like ways that we can work with Jupiter.

Speaker 1:

Oh, also in human design. Note your see, I know I have this in here, so note your Jupiter gate. Jupiter is in the Veen keys. Veen keys oh my gosh, jupiter is in the Gene keys. And Jupiter in the Gene keys is going to be part of your Venus sequence. Wow, I feel like I need to restart this entire little section. I'm trying to pull it out right now. Genius prosperity oh, your Venus sequence. Wow, I feel like I need to restart this entire little section. I'm trying to pull it out right now. Genius prosperity oh, my Venus sequence is somewhere else, but I don't know where that book is. I don't think it's behind me, but I must have pulled it out to go through it.

Speaker 1:

But Jupiter's in your Venus sequence, so it does have an aspect to do with your relationships. I'm trying to find that. I don't know why it's not with the rest of them, but anyway. But it really does have to do with your relationships and it really talks about. I wish I had it in front of me, that's right, but anyway. So note the gate and the line quality that Jupiter holds in your human design, because that's a really important piece to understanding that Jupiter energy.

Speaker 1:

Again, jupiter is expansion and so it's really powerful. So, again, working with Jupiter gratitude obviously, gratitude is so helpful for everything, but especially when it comes to Jupiter, right, like, being grateful really expands you. Again, tracking the transits is super, super helpful. You can do like a vision board if you're really working on manifesting money and really leaning into those Jupiter qualities. So maybe putting things up there that really speak to Jupiter because Jupiter's expansion and because it is benefic and because it has to do with your finances and your money and it will help grow those things, if we make like a Jupiter aligned vision board, that can be really helpful, right. So Jupiter really just invites us to grow, expand and really align with what brings us meaning, right, it's the planet that teaches us to believe in ourselves and trust the journey, even when it's not always clear.

Speaker 1:

So, again, go to astrocom wherever you look up your chart. I love Luna astrology, but take a look at your natal chart and explore Jupiter's placement, right. So where are you being called to grow? What area of life is it in? What sign is it in? What house is it in? And are there any aspects, right, like how can you expand with intention? How can you really lean into this and remember, be really curious with this and optimistic, right? So, if you can, right, let yourself dream big while staying grounded in that process? And yeah, let me know, follow me on Instagram, head over there and let me know if this episode resonated.

Speaker 1:

Jupiter is such a beautiful planet and, again, it's not all just like butterflies and roses, because everything has a shadow side, everything has an equal and opposite side, and so there is, you know, a dark side to Jupiter and you know we just had the Sagittarius new moon and one of the shadows of this is when the moon is in Sagittarius. Because Jupiter, jupiter and Sagittarius like it holds such an optimistic energy, but sometimes it can have us avoiding our emotional world where it's like, instead of actually sitting and feeling the thing, it'll just bounce from thing to thing like new experience, new opportunity, right, like it's sort of like overly optimistic, where you're kind of like missing the lesson in that. So, whatever Jupiter is, if you can slow down and really integrate and like see what that holds for you, what lesson is there can really help you integrate and embody that energy more of its higher expression? Right, we always go into the lows and, yeah, that's really like this episode is gonna be short. I have, unfortunately, little time this week Like reorienting myself and figuring out how everything's going to work, but I am going to.
